The Documentary Credit (DC) is one of the most popular ways of conducting international business and offers a good level of protection and security to both buyers and sellers.

When a DC is issued, the issuing bank will send the DC to its correspondent bank (Advising Bank) for authentication and advising to the beneficiary.
