Firms or companies resident in Sri Lanka who are providing professional services to their overseas clients or to local firm or companies who earn foreign exchange.
Requirements
Bank’s standard account opening forms should be completed.
Initial deposit USD 2,500/- or equivalent in other currencies approved/specified by Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
Copy of the export registration certificate issued by the SLEDB- original to be sighted by the bank – (for EFCA a/cs)- Copy of certificate registration with Sri Lanka Tourist Board (for HFCA)
Original NIC/PP to be sighted and copies retained by the Bank for Sole Proprietorship/Partnerships and copies of NIC/PP of directors and signatories to be retained for LTD Liability companies.

Further Information
Credits restricted solely to proceeds of exports, Inward Remittances in the name of the account holders.
Account to be maintained in the Bank’s Domestic Unit.
Could be in the form of Savings or Call or Fixed Deposit accounts.
No cheque books issued.
Debits to accounts do not qualify for tax exemption.

Certificate of Incorporation.
Form 48
Board Resolution duly signed by The Chairmen of the meeting and countersigned by the company secretary.
Memorandum & Article of Association.
