• Gives you peace of mind, as funds will reach the beneficiary bank within seconds (subject to internal procedures of the beneficiary bank). Cut-off time for written instructions: 11.00 pm the latest.
• Helps you gain better control of your financial position and avoid overdrafts.
• Offers flexibility as your payee can make payments at any HSBC branch, from their PC using Hexagon or via Automated Telephone Banking.
• The system provides for a safer and risk free transfer mechanism eliminating most operational risks associated with the current manual system (SLIPS).
• The manual system, SLIPS can still be used only to perform transfers for future value dates.
