HSBC would also like to welcome you to a world of privileges by:

• Waiving off the Joining Fee for both the Platinum card (LKR3,500) and Gold card (LKR1,250).
• Waiving off the Annual Fee if the card is used for more than LKR10,000 within 60 days of receiving the card.

To become an HSBC Gold credit cardholder, you should:

• Be at least 20 years of age.
• Have a steady job that pays you a minimum salary of LKR50,000 (gross) per month.

To apply for an HSBC credit card, you need to submit the following documents:

If you are salaried:

• Copy of NIC or valid Passport or Driving License (Indicating the NIC number).
• Salary slip (most current) with company seal / authorised signature or etter from employer confirming salary (including a breakdown and all deductions).
• A copy of a utility bill / bank statement / income tax letters / correspondence received by professional bodies (CDMA bills are not accepted).

Application Processing
The application (once received by the Bank) will usually take a minimum of 10 working days to be processed if all required documentation is in order. Faster processing can be provded for a fee. Please call 4 4722 77 to arrange this.
