  • Bank with your most preferred language, may it be English, Sinhala or Tamil
  • Access your accounts securely with a Personal Identification Number (PIN)
  • Enquire your account and credit card balance or transaction history
  • Activate your HSBC credit card
  • Pay your utility bills from where ever you are
  • Make payment to your HSBC credit card at any time of the day
  • Transfer funds instantly between your accounts or to third party HSBC accounts

 

  • Report lost or stolen ATM and credit cards immediately
  • Order cheque books or even make a stop cheque request
  • Open Time Deposit accounts
  • Obtain the latest exchange rate and interest rates
  • Obtain your previous statements by fax or post

Follow the easy access codes that will take you to your desired menu without waiting for the recording.

For an example : If you wish to obtain your account and credit card balance, you can simply select 1 → 1 → Phonebanking PIN → 1

Call charges waived off, when you bank via Phonebanking

For the first time in Sri Lanka, HSBC offers automated Phonebanking facility free from call charges. Pay absolutely nothing when you dial from our Toll free numbers.

Dial your way in today

Dial in our General hotline (94 11) 4 4722 00, the designated hotline you fall in to or any of the toll free numbers and key in:

  • Any of your account number/s or
  • Credit card number/s or
  • 10 digit Phonebanking Number (PBN)

 

Followed by your Phonebanking Personal Identification Number (PIN).

 

You can transfer up to the following amounts per day using the Phonebanking service:

  • Between your own accounts - LKR1 million
  • Utility bill payments - LKR200,000 *
  • Transfers to third party accounts within HSBC - LKR200,000 **

 

*You can pay your telephone, electricity, water bills and make many more bill payments through Phonebanking upon adding the bill information.

**This facility will be activated only upon written request.
