Peace of mind with Safe Card
Chartis Insurance Limited offers Safe Card insurance scheme exclusively for HSBC Premier, HSBC Advance and Visa Signature credit card holders, protecting them against unauthorized transactions. This policy gives worldwide coverage against unauthorized transactions carried out up to 48 hours prior to notification to the Bank, owning to the loss or theft of their credit card. Platinum and Gold credit card holders can obtain this facility for a fee.
- Loss or theft of keys along with the HSBC credit card.
- Loss and/or theft of identification papers (National Identity Card, Passport, Driving License) along with HSBC credit card.
- Loss of cash through ATM Cash Mugging (Theft through violent or forcible means) during or immediately after withdrawal.
- Loss or theft of SIM (mobile phone chip) along with HSBC credit card.
- Loss of receipts awaiting reimbursement.
- Accidental Medical Cover for bodily injuries during ATM hold-up robbery.

In the event of a claim, all unauthorized transactions as a result of loss or theft of HSBC credit card will be considered as one single loss & the limits on the additional covers are part of the total limit and not additional to this total limit.
