The FX/LKR Linked Structured Deposit provides the customer an opportunity to earn a potentially higher yield than a traditional Savings or Time Deposit by taking a view on a currency pair and taking advantage of exchange rate movements.

The minimum deposit amount: LKR 5,000,000 or equivalent in foreign currency

A FX/LKR Linked Structured Deposit is likely to be suitable for you if you:

• Are willing and able to accept high investment risk.
• Believes the potential enhanced yield justifies any potential capital losses.

• Potential to enjoy more than the traditional savings or time deposit.
• Guaranteed interest payment at maturity (net of applicable Withholding Tax).
• Strike Rate and Interest Rate can be customised to suit your requirements.
• Investment tenures range from one to twelve months.
• Choice of five major foreign currencies and LKR to choose from as Linked Currency (i.e. USD, GBP, EUR, AUD or JPY, LKR), with Deposit or Linked Currency to be in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR).
