• Download an application form, signature card/s and checklist available below
• Upon completion of application and supplementary documentation take it to the nearest HSBC Group Office/branch in your country and get the forms duly certified by authorised signatories of HSBC
• Non-resident Sri Lankans employed overseas should produce proof of employment to open an account
• If you are an existing HSBC account holder, you have the option to contact HSBC’s International Banking Centre (IBC) in your country to certify documentation send through the bank’s automated channels
• If you are not an existing HSBC account holder, place your signature on the application in the presence of an authorised signatory of an HSBC Group Office/branch
• Send the certified form and supplementary documentation to IBC Sri Lanka, address mentioned below
• Upon receipt of the documentation a Securities Investment Account will be opened and you will be notified
• You can remit funds and invest in Treasury Bills/Bonds of your choice and start earning an enhanced rate
